VAT rate
change
The standard
rate of VAT was temporarily reduced to 15% on 1 December
2008. It will return to 17.5% on 1 January 2010.
If you are
mid way through a matter with Hardmans, it might be a
good idea to speak to us about an interim bill before
the end of the year. This way, you will benefit from the
lower rate of VAT at 15%. All work carried out from 1st
January 2010 will be charged using the VAT rate of 17.5%
Further
information can be found on the
HMRC website.
