“HIP’s” (Home Information Packs) – Let Us Prepare Yours!
Government Announcement - 22 May 2007
- Home Information Pack's (HIPs) will now be implemented on 1st August 2007 on a phased basis. From this date the HIP will be required for four bedroom properties and larger. These are the properties which are the most energy inefficient. The Government will phase in packs for smaller properties as soon as they feel there are enough energy assessors available to work. From August 2007 the law relating to how you sell your house is changing. Before you put your property on the market you will be required to supply a legal pack providing basic information relating to your home. This at the moment will only apply if you have four bedrooms or more. Please see the press statement to the right for further information.
